Linkglide components utilize a different pull ratio and tooth pitch than traditional Shimano Hyperglide (HG) or Hyperglide+ (HG+) systems.
To achieve proper indexing and smooth gear steps, you must pair this cassette with a matching Shimano Linkglide shifter and Linkglide rear derailleur. It will not index correctly if mixed with standard 11-speed Deore, XT, or GRX road/MTB components.
